Melissa (“Missy”) Bolin became a member of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Phi Chi Theta in May of 2006. She served as chapter Historian, Bylaws Chair, and Vice President. She was a past winner of the Naomi L. Satterfield Memorial Scholarship. She became a Life Member of Phi Chi Theta in 2010. She is currently president of the Denver Alumni Chapter and President of the Phi Chi Theta Educational Foundation. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2007, and a Master of Science in Finance in 2010. She is also an active alumni member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society.
Professionally, she is a full-time eService Product Specialist at a credit union based out of Cheyenne, Wyoming (the result of two mergers). Missy has worked there for the past 9 years in positions ranging from Loan Officer, to Credit Risk Analyst, to her current IT-related position in eServices. She is grateful to be working in the not-for-profit sector. She also works a second job on weekends, at The Ore Cart Rock Shop in Estes Park, Colorado, a job she has held for 17 years.
Of all her accomplishments, she values her positions in Phi Chi Theta the most, and hopes to be a role model for others who want to make an impact on the lives of our members. She currently lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her long-time boyfriend, Kirk Dudley, and their three cats. She enjoys traveling and has visited 17 countries, with two more planned for November of 2017. She especially enjoys meeting up with PCT Alumni on her trips, visiting one in Bolivia and one in China. In November 2017, she will visit a member in Thailand.
